My name is Tama Leahy, and I am the Meridian Park Elementary School Nurse. I have been a school nurse in the Shoreline School District since 2013. I enjoy working with students, families, and staff members to create a safe, healthy, welcoming environment for everyone in our community.

Shoreline School District is partnering with the WA State Department of Health Care-a-Van to offer a free mobile vaccine clinic at Meridian Park Elementary School on May 21, 3:00-7:00 pm.

Vaccines Available
- Childhood vaccines, including COVID and Flu as well as school-required immunizations are NO COST for uninsured patients 6 months through 18 years old. (19+ are considered adults.)
- COVID vaccines are NO COST to patients who are uninsured and underinsured.
- Flu vaccines are NO COST to patients that are uninsured.
How to Prepare
- If insured, please bring proof of insurance.
- If registering for a COVID vaccine, please bring your vaccine card or digital verification record.
- Pre-registration is strongly encouraged; walk-ins will be accepted based on time and vaccine availability.

Vision & Hearing Screening will take place at Meridian Park throughout September, October, and November. Shoreline Nurses conduct hearing and vision screening based on state law and district policy.
All students in grades K, 1, 2, 3, and 5 will be screened. If the screening identifies possible concerns, you will be sent a letter recommending your student have a complete exam by a specialist. Please note that families are not notified of normal results.
