All Families Welcome

At Meridian Park Elementary, we welcome, embrace, and care for ALL families. Because at times families can experience feelings of uncertainty or anxiety, we believe that our public schools, including Meridian Park, are a safe place for ALL students and families to learn, grow, and be part of a community.

If you or another family have any questions, concerns, or need support, please contact us directly or any member of our staff. Each and every day, please join us in making all families feel welcome and part of our amazing school.

Kindergarteners and Gingerbread

Kindergarten participated in a gingerbread unit. We made gingerbread cookies from scratch and ate them for snack time.  We also made a boat for our gingerbread people to help them across the river.  Some gingerbread people didn't make it. : 0  Then we made gingerbread houses to celebrate.

Fifth Graders read Where the Mountain Meets the Moon

Lisa Sezate's fifth grade reading students all read Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin. The purchase of books was funded in part by a grant from the Sno-King Retired School Teachers organiziation. A big "Thank You!" to the association for supporting a love of reading!

SKSR is an organization of retired and current teachers of the Edmonds, Shoreline, and Northshore School Districts.  Each year, SKSR awards mini-grants of up to $400 to its active members and their students.  Since 1998, SKSR has awarded over $139,000 in grants. Of that, MP has received $2,473 since 2008.
